Diabetes Friendly Fish Recipe


Hi Foodies ! Are you a diabetic patient. Don't worry at all. Having diabetes doesn't mean forgoing yummy foods. Try this delicious recipe for lunch/dinner.

INGREDIENTS:


1 Green chilli (chopped),
2 tsp Ginger paste,
1 tsp Garlic paste,
200 g fish ( prawn or any fish),
fresh coriender leaves ( chopped),
fresh mint (chopped),
Parsley (chopped),
1 tbsp lime juice,
1 middle size onion (chopped),
1 red pepper ( thinly sliced ),
2tsp curry powder,
oil, salt

Method:


1) Add coriander, mint, parsley, lime juice and water in a blender jar. Blend together to make a green sauce and keep aside.

2) Coat the fish with the 1 tsp of turmeric and pinch of salt. Heat the oil in a pan and add the fish. Cook for 1 minute on each side. Remove from the pan and keep it in a bowl.

2) Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and red pepper. Fry for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add chilli, ginger paste and garlic paste. Stir it well. Add salt. Sprinkle with the curry powder and cook for 2 minutes.

3) Add fish to the pan, then coat it in all of the spices. Be careful not to break up the fish chunks.

4)Pour green sauce and boil it for 4-5 minute in a low flame until the fish is cooked through. Stirring occasionally. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
