Topse Fish Fry / Mango Fish Fry



Topse is a very delicate fish and recognised worldwide for its delicious taste. This fish is always fried whole.
Just think of a rainy Day...Khichuri & Topse Fry in lunch...or hot coffee/tea with Topse Fry as a starter !!!...I know its watering in your mouth only by hearing of this menu, isn't it?



INGREDIENTS:


Topse fish 7-8,
Ginger paste,
Onion paste,
Garlic paste,
Green Chillies paste,
Coriander powder,
Cumin powder,
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder,
1 cup of Besan,
1/3 rd cup of Rice Flour
Lemon juice 2 tbsp,
Salt,
Oil

PREPARATION:


1) Wash and clean the fish. Marinate the fish with lemon juice, ginger-garlic-onion paste, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt and keep it aside for 1 hour.

2) Make a smooth batter mixing besan, rice flour, baking soda, black pepper powder, green chilli paste, little bit of salt and water in a bowl.

3) Take the marinated fish into that batter one by one.

4)  Heat oil in a pan in a medium flame and deep fry the Topse fish one by one separately..

Topshe Fry is now ready. Serve it hot as Starter or as side dish with Khichudi, white rice etc.
