Keema Paratha

Ingredients

For the dough
1 cup Maida
1 tablespoon Ghee  
Salt
Water 

For kheema

500 grams Mutton keema
1 Onion ( chopped )
5 cloves Garlic ( paste ) 
1 inch Ginger ( paste ) 
4 Green Chillies ( chopped )
5 tablespoon Curd  
oil

For seasoning

1 tablespoon Coriander Powder
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
2 Cardamom 
3 Cloves
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 inch Cinnamon Stick


Procedure

1) To make the dough: 

** Add maida, ghee, salt in a bowl and add water to mix it well. Make a smooth & soft dough with it.

** Cover it and keep it aside. 

2) To make the Keema filling for Paratha

** Heat oil in a pan & once the oil is hot, add cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick &green chillies.

** Add onions and saute till it turns into golden brown colour.
** Now add ginger & garlic & Saute it for 2 minutes. 

** Add keema and curd together and mix it well. 

** Add salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder and mix thoroughly. Cover it with a lid and cook keema over a low flame until it becomes soft and tender. 


3) To make Keema Paratha

** Heat a non stick tawa .

** Divide the dough into equally sized balls.

** Roll each ball out into a circle to make roti.

** Take two tablespoons of the keema mix and place it on the centre of the roti.

** Now close all sides of roti by folding the curves over the keema and towards the centre. 

** Next shallow fry the parathas till they are golden and crisp. 
Serve it hot with sauce & chutney.
