Veg Pakora


Its Monsoon...so everybody yearns for something spicy and crunchy to munch on. I am here guys with a wonderful recipe of Veg Pakora, made with a mix of vegetables, besan and spiced up with green chillies.


Ingredients


1/2 cup cabbage (finely chopped),
1/4 cup french beans (finely chopped),
1/2 cup onions (finely chopped),
1/4 cup coriander (finely chopped),
1/4 cup capsicum (finely chopped),
2 green chillies (finely chopped),
1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
a pinch of baking soda,
1/2 tsp ginger (finely chopped),
salt to taste,
3/4 cup besan, 
2 tbsp rice flour,
oil

Method 



1) Take all the finely chopped vegetables in a deep bowl and mix well.

2) Add besan, rice flour, salt, grated ginger, baking soda and water to make a thick batter. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

3) Heat oil in a pan.

4) Now drop spoonfuls of the batter in the hot oil and fry pakoras over low flame. When one side is turned golden brown, fry the other side. Fry until they are crispy and golden.
Serve hot with chutney and tomato ketchup.
